You can use screen readers such as NVDA and JAWS with Mediasite Player. With a screen reader, you can use the Tab, Down Arrow, and Enter keys to access Player features. We also provide shortcut keys for navigating through the presentation and Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) messages. Shortcut keysThe following shortcut keys are available in the Screen Reader Player. Pressing Ctrl+Z activates the Screen Reader Player for all players regardless of the layout. The keyboard shortcuts inherent to the player you are using are also available in the Screen Reader Player. To hear a list of the keyboard shortcuts listed below users can press Ctrl+ Shift + Q.
* There is not a corresponding button in the player. This only exists as a shortcut. Note: When performing a jump forward or backward, the presentation will stop at the first chapter point that it encounters if there is one in between the mark the user starts from and the mark the user is trying to jump to. If there is a chapter point within 10 seconds of the jump-to mark, the player will automatically snap to that chapter point.
